South Carolina - Johns Island (Charleston)

We are a Home Away Group here on Johns Island, not far from Maybank Hwy and River Rd. We are meeting at 5:30pm for a shared supper and the streamed service and we'd love for you to join us! Families and all ages are welcome.

Our heart for the Charleston, SC area is to provide a place for believers to be encouraged and equipped. (Eph 4:12: Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.)

As a couple, we've been married 22 years and a part of Calvary Chapels since 2006. God has taken us on an adventure to have been taught by noteworthy pastors in California, Tennessee, and Hawaii. In 2021 we began regularly listening in to Pastor Jack Hibbs for sound biblical teaching. We are so grateful for the Home Away extension of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills! As parents, we've home educated both our girls since 2006, and one is now graduated and the other is a junior in high school.

Please note, due to a first-responder work schedule, we meet 4 Sundays together, and then have 2 Sundays off.  As we grow, we will continue to evaluate this.
